What You’ll Learn

Learn in small classes taught by experienced practitioners and influential researchers dedicated to social justice. Study social welfare policy, human behavior, foundations of social work practice and other key topics in rigorous foundation courses.

Practicums

Apply your learning and build professional skills in supervised practicums at your choice of more than 1,000 health, mental health and social service agencies. Apply for an IDEATE Fellowship in Behavioral Healthcare and earn a $10,000 stipend. Additional stipends are available through other fellowship programs.

Flexibility

Making our MSW program more accessible to all is our mission. We offer several options for completing your MSW, all of which follow the same sequencing of courses and requirements regardless of whether you are full or part time, on campus or online.
